Shaylyn Bradshaw

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

You don’t have to carry this alone anymore.

When you're living with the weight of past trauma, questioning your identity or spirituality, or simply trying to hold it together while everything inside feels unsettled, it can feel exhausting. You may find yourself constantly overthinking, feeling anxious in your relationships, or unsure of who you really are. You may even wonder if healing is possible — or if anyone will truly understand what you’re going through.

Shaylyn Bradshaw understands how heavy that can feel. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she creates a safe, supportive space where you can finally exhale, be seen for who you are, and start to heal. She works with teens (13+) and adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, life transitions, religious trauma, and the lifelong impact of trauma — helping clients reclaim their voice and sense of self.

A place where your full story is welcome

For many clients, the hardest part is feeling like they don't fully belong anywhere — especially if they are processing faith deconstruction, navigating LGBTQIA+ identity, or trying to make sense of complex family dynamics. Shaylyn offers a warm, nonjudgmental space where every part of your story is honored. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming, body-positive, trauma-informed, and welcomes clients from all spiritual backgrounds — including those sorting through questions of faith, those who’ve been harmed by rigid belief systems, or those who prefer therapy without a spiritual lens.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, afraid to speak your truth, or overwhelmed by shame, Shaylyn meets you exactly where you are — and walks beside you as you move toward healing and wholeness.

A therapy approach built for real life healing

Shaylyn knows that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. She blends multiple evidence-based therapies to meet your unique needs, including:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand and heal the different parts of yourself that carry pain, protect you, or feel stuck.

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to build emotional regulation and coping skills for the overwhelm and intense emotions that often come with trauma and anxiety.

  • Body-based therapies to reconnect you with your physical self and create a felt sense of safety.

  • Psychodynamic and relational approaches to help you untangle the deeper roots of your struggles while strengthening your sense of self-worth.

Her practice is always strengths-based, culturally competent, and grounded in a deep respect for the lived experiences of LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients.

Healing doesn’t mean “fixing” yourself — it means coming home to who you truly are

Many of Shaylyn’s clients come to her after years of feeling disconnected from themselves — carrying anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or shame that seems impossible to release. Through creative, compassionate, and sometimes gently challenging work, Shaylyn helps her clients not just cope, but build meaningful internal harmony. She works collaboratively to help you uncover your strengths, make sense of your experiences, and move forward with confidence and clarity.

You are not broken. You are becoming.

If you're ready to stop carrying the weight alone, Shaylyn is ready to walk with you. She offers thoughtful, affirming therapy that honors the complexity of your journey and helps you build a life rooted in self-acceptance, connection, and purpose.
