Monesha Battle
Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate
Life can feel like a lot sometimes.
One minute everything seems fine, and the next you’re overwhelmed, frustrated, or just tired of trying to keep it all together. Whether you’re figuring out who you are, struggling with school, or trying to manage big emotions, it’s okay to ask for help.
That’s where Monesha comes in.
Monesha Battle, Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA), provides a calm and supportive space where children, teens, and adults can feel safe to talk, explore emotions, and learn healthy ways to cope. With eight years of experience working in schools and foster care, she understands that life can get complicated and that everyone deserves someone in their corner.
Monesha helps youth and adults manage anxiety, depression, grief, and family or school challenges. She also supports parents who want to strengthen communication and create more peace at home. Her sessions are relaxed and caring, filled with understanding, encouragement, and a touch of humor to make difficult conversations feel a little easier.
Her approach combines solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. She believes in working together to build on each person’s strengths and helping clients find tools that make everyday life feel more manageable.
Monesha earned her Master of Social Work from Walden University and her Bachelor of Social Work from Fayetteville State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in North Carolina and is passionate about helping children, teens, and adults feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Monesha values faith, family, and connection. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, who is also a social worker, and their two daughters. She’s a proud foodie who loves traveling to try new foods and exploring new places. Monesha believes that laughter, honesty, and kindness can go a long way in the healing process.
Life can be messy, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. Monesha is here to listen, support, and help you find the confidence to grow through what you’re going through.
