Exploring where you’ve been to better understand where you’re going.

Amanda is passionate about helping individuals who feel stuck in familiar cycles, whether that looks like repeating relationship patterns, struggling with emotional regulation, feeling disconnected from themselves or others, or carrying the weight of past experiences. She enjoys helping clients understand how childhood experiences, trauma, attachment wounds, and learned coping strategies can influence the way they view themselves, navigate relationships, and respond to life's challenges.

Rather than focusing only on what is happening on the surface, Amanda works alongside clients to explore the "why" behind their struggles. She believes that greater self-awareness and understanding can create opportunities for healing, healthier choices, and stronger connections. Through therapy, clients can begin to identify patterns that no longer serve them, develop new ways of coping, and create a life that feels more aligned with who they want to become.

Amanda believes therapy is a place where people can begin to understand themselves on a deeper level, make sense of their experiences, and create meaningful change in their lives and relationships. As a trauma-informed therapist, Amanda recognizes that many of the struggles people experience in their present lives are connected to experiences, relationships, and patterns that developed long before they began their therapy journey. Her goal is to help clients explore these deeper roots with compassion while building the tools needed to move forward.

Working with adolescents ages 15 and older, adults, couples, and military members, she supports clients navigating life’s challenges, transitions, and personal growth. She enjoys helping individuals explore identity, relationships, emotional regulation, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, and the patterns that influence how they view themselves and connect with others.

With a special interest in supporting military members, she understands the unique challenges that can come with service, deployments, transitions, and the impact military life can have on individuals and families. She values creating a space where clients feel understood and supported while processing their experiences and building tools for continued growth.

She also enjoys working with couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and navigate conflict in healthier ways. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, she helps partners better understand each other’s perspectives, recognize unhelpful patterns, and build stronger connections through empathy and intentional communication.

Amanda offers specialized therapy intensives for individuals looking to take a deeper dive into specific areas of growth and healing. These focused sessions provide dedicated space to explore topics such as attachment styles, burnout, stress management, and anxiety management while gaining insight, practical tools, and strategies that can be applied beyond the therapy space.

Amanda approaches therapy with curiosity, compassion, and respect for each person's individual story. She believes that healing is not about changing who someone is, but about understanding the experiences that shaped them and creating the opportunity to respond to life with greater confidence, connection, and choice.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her children, practicing Pilates, walking the beach, and exploring new coffee shops and local places to eat. She enjoys finding creativity in everyday life and often creates therapeutic worksheets, resources, and other creative projects that allow her to continue learning, connecting, and supporting others in meaningful ways.
